About Kenrie
In April of 2005, Kenrie, Inc. purchased the rights to be the sole OEM provider of replacement parts for machine tools for various product lines that had been produced by Micromatic Textron. These products primarily consisted of Micromatic Honing Machines, B&T Die-cast and Trim Press equipment, Ex-Cell-O Injection Molding and Structural Foam equipment and Buss Planer Equipment. Since January 2006, Kenrie has proudly offered custom-engineered honing/microsizing machines designed to process engine blocks, conn-rods, gears (bore & face honing), compressors, liners, valves, or anything that requires the honing process.

Who We Are – The Management Team

Ken Vennesland - Founder and President
Ken started working for Micromatic 30 years ago as a mechanical engineer after college. He has moved throughout the company, assisting many departments, including machine proposal, engineering, purchasing, production control, routings, internal sales, and parts pricing. Ken’s many years of experience in all facets of the honing industry have allowed Ken to revitalize a tradition in the honing industry. Ken is a Lake Superior State University alum with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an associate’s degree in Drafting & Design.

Rick Mathis - Vice President
Rick started with Kenrie in 2005. Rick is in charge of the day-to-day operations of Kenrie and is the Sales Manager. He is currently opening up new international markets.

Brian Sweebe - Customer Relations Specialist
Brian brings with him 22 years of sales experience in multiple fields. Brian is customer focused and solution oriented making him a vital part of the Kenrie team.

Since 2005, Kenrie has been offering OEM Parts, field engineering services, and documentation for Buss Planer Equipment. We currently have a number of Buss Planer publications available for download at no cost.
